Blair Bags Bank Job

Tony Blair has taken a part-time job with one of Wall Street's biggest banks in what he said was “likely to be one of a number of varied positions.”

Blair, having already agreed to work on a flexible part-time basis for Primark, Wilkinson and Threshers, has agreed to become an adviser to JP Morgan, where he is expected to provide political and strategic fabrication.

Blair couldn't stop boasting about the size of his first wage packet.

The former PM, who is currently serving as an unpaid international envoy, (ironically in the Middle East) declined to say how much he would be earning. However, our source who also works for the financial giant revealed that the job was likely to be worth more than £500,000 a week.

“It’s a tough gig and the pay could be better” said Blair. “I’ll give it a go and in all likelihood will probably make things ten times worse than they were before then just move on.”   JG
