Celebs  To ‘Do Anything’ In New Reality Show

Trashy magazine lovers, office gossipers and those without a life will be pleased to learn that another celebrity reality show will soon be on our screens. I’d Do Anything will be aired on BBC 4 during winter and is sure to generate an obscene amount of money from gullible callers voting for their Z-list heroes to go all the way.

The shows producers, Desperate TV, are also responsible for past productions such as An Audience With Keith Chegwin, Joe Pasquale Revealed and Julian Clary: Access All Areas.

Bookies are yet to offer odds on the show as they simply don't care.

Billy Joe Ray Lance Parker hopes to win the show for his sister/wife.

Along with the customary batch of reality show regulars, such as Danielle Lloyd and Fran Cosgrave, several even lesser known 'celebrities' will take part. John Croft, a general odd job man from Crewe, who claims to have once repaired Phil Collins' favourite drum kit, will make his television debut. As too will Harold St Clair. St Clair may be unfamiliar to both of the show's viewers, but the passionate (if not completely deranged) newcomer convinced BBC bosses by claiming to be the last person to see Jesus Christ. St Clair impressed the shows seniors when he explained that he saw the holy one at his local Poundstretcher in Tooting, South West London. St Clair also revealed that the son of God supports Coventry City FC, is a vegetarian and is currently looking to break into the unlicensed boxing world… as an agent.

Other contestants include 90's Russian heart throb, Sergei Sicklenov whose 1998 rendition of Michael Jackson’s Stranger Moscow rose to the dizzy heights of number 37 in the Russian chart. Also taking part will be the second cousin (twice removed) of Justin Timberlake, Billy Joe Ray Lance Parker.

Japanese ballerina, Jenny Wang Yang Bang, is another entry. Viewers may remember Miss Wang Yang Bang for her bravery at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. While attempting a triple summersault back flip, Miss Wang Yang Bang broke both her arms and legs but somehow managed to complete her performance and left the Spanish city a silver medallist.

Tasks for the contestants are yet to be agreed, given their limited capabilities. I’d Do Anything starts Monday 12th November at 1.30am on BBC 4.    JG
