Links
Welcome to the links page (the title kinda gives it away, admittedly). Here you'll find...well, links. The sites on this page include ones we've found particularly useful or entertaining in the past. A couple of them are even run by people we know, but don't let that put you off.
Jack Gibson - Jack's very own site, on which you can find examples of his writing, an interview with Dennis Locorriere (formerly of Dr Hook), reviews and script excerpts. Check out the photo too - Jack only has the one and he posts it everywhere.
Nick Jones & Nick Jones... again - Nick's blogs including articles, opinions, general rants and reviews of films, books and events. There's also a nasty photo of him on there, but if you close one eye, you can pretty much block it out.
Ed Cox - Ed is a writer of speculative fiction, among other things, and a thoroughly nice guy. Last time we saw him he had a funny little beard, which he's probably kept to this day. Ed is a seriously good writer and a visit to his site will not disappoint.
Edinburgh Fringe Festival - In 2008, we'll be putting on our play, 'Issues' there, which is one reason to give the site a try. It's full of all sorts of information from advice for potential performers to information on exactly what kind of weird and wonderful stuff you can expect to encounter up there. Men in skirts...that's one...
Write-On! - 'A forum for new dramatic writing in Cambridge' is how this site bills itself. It's basically run by actors, writers and directors with a passion for new writing for the theatre...in Cambridge. They stage 'rehearsed readings' of new plays and offer advice and feedback to writers. We like them not only because they are giving our play it's 'premiere' albeit in a 'sitting down' style, but also because they accepted our work in the full knowledge that neither of us are from Cambridge.
Gumtree - The 'creative writing' section of this site is a good place to find all sorts; jobs, opportunities, links to other related writing sites.
Write This Moment - Like Gumtree but far more writing specific. Hundreds of jobs and opportunities from around the world for writers of fiction, non-fiction, specialist writers or true-life story writers.
